Diamond Jubilee Events

Penhow Community Events Group and Penhow Community Council have joined forces along with other volunteers to begin planning a weekend of events in 2012 to celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.  Much advanced fundraising is already underway with a series of car boot sales planned.  If you would like to volunteer to help with these events or have ideas for fundraising or for the Golden Jubilee please get in touch by clicking here.

Penhow Village Shop - Cupcakes are Back!

The incredibly popular cupcakes make a return to the shop every Saturday from 9am...they don't hang around for long! French sticks, Baguettes, Croissants, Pain au Chocolat, Caramel Slices, a selection of Danish Pastries, Chocolate chip muffins and Toffee muffins are also available, along with a small selection of white, granary & wholemeal bread.

Frozen meat from Court Bleddyn farm, Monmouthshire has proved popular and the range has been expanded to include Welsh Black beef, Lamb, Mutton and Tamworth pork sausages.

  Phase One of the Park is Complete!

Hopefully by now you will have all noticed that phase one of the Park transformation is complete. We were able to go ahead thanks to not just our own fundraising efforts but with a a donation of £1000 from Asda, £500 from the Community First Fund, and very generous assistance from Penhow Community Council. Thanks very much to Designer Parks Ltd too, who were forced to work through all kinds of weather to complete the project. Visit the Events pages to see the 'Before' and 'After' photos.
